Safe Kids Boot Camp 2009

July 6-10, 2009 @ Pathways United Methodist Church in Springfield. Registration available January 2009.

We are already gearing up for Safe Kids Boot Camp 2009. This is a wonderful program for children to learn about safety in a unique format. Campers will learn about outdoor safety, home safety, vehicle safety, pedestrian safety, and bike safety through interactive games, activities, videos, and crafts in addition to the speakers. The program is designed for children entering 2nd or 3rd grade in the fall.

This week-long camp for kids runs Monday-Friday. Drop off time is between 7:30-8:30 am and pick-up time is between 4:30-5:30 pm. Campers will bring a sack lunch each day and refreshments will be provided. Campers will enjoy outdoor time as well as indoor time. No slip-on shoes will be permitted. Tennis shoes or other shoes that fit snugly to the foot are required.

Campers will leave with practical safety knowledge, a binder full of safety games and materials, and even a few wonderful safety devices.
